Following her career in modern dance, Marika earned two masters degrees in Oriental Medicine and apprenticed for years to some of the greatest minds in her field. Marika brings to her practice extensive knowledge, a deep love for her work, and a commitment to her patients' well being. She is a licensed acupuncturist in the States of New York and California. With an extensive skill set that includes acupuncture and acupressure modalities, herbal medicine, meditation, qigong, cupping, the Pilates method of exercise, and nutrition, Marika utilizes a range of techniques to create a personalized and effective treatment plan tailored to each individual's needs and goals.
